Psychologist – Gold Coast

Make a real impact where it matters most — helping people rebuild, re-engage, and move forward.

Transform Life Psychology is the dedicated Psychology service line within Transform Life — a nationwide allied health team supporting people across Australia.

We’re growing our Psychology team and looking for a Registered Psychologist to support a unique and rewarding client group through a blend of telehealth from home and face-to-face sessions in our Southport serviced office.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to work with clients referred through a national employment and vocational support provider, supporting individuals to overcome barriers and successfully engage in meaningful work.

You’ll work with people from diverse backgrounds, including:

  • Individuals living with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Clients building confidence and readiness to return to work
  • People navigating complex life circumstances, including justice system involvement

👉 Importantly, clients engage voluntarily in this service — they are not mandated to attend — which often leads to stronger engagement and more meaningful therapeutic outcomes.

👉 This also isn’t a one-size caseload. You’ll have the flexibility to shape your caseload around your interests, with opportunities to also work across:

  • NDIS participants
  • General mental health presentations
  • Other referral streams within Transform Life Psychology

Who This Role Suits

This role is ideal for Psychologists who:

  • Enjoy structured, goal-oriented work with clear outcomes
  • Are confident working with complex or non-traditional client groups
  • Have experience or interest in areas such as:
    • Corrections / justice system
    • Occupational rehabilitation
    • Disability / NDIS
    • Trauma-informed practice
  • Want a balance of independence and strong clinical support
  • Value having variety in their caseload and the ability to tailor their work

Why Join Transform Life Psychology

  • Flexibility with a mix of telehealth and in-person work
  • Full time or part time options that work around your life
  • Enjoy the benefits of an employed, stable role
  • Shape your caseload to align with your interests and strengths
  • Be part of a national multidisciplinary team
  • Strong focus on collaboration, clinical support, and ongoing development

People Who Thrive Here Tend To

  • Be self-directed and take ownership of their work
  • Value autonomy while knowing support is always there
  • Communicate openly and collaborate with others
  • Embrace feedback and continuous learning
  • Care deeply about making a difference in people’s lives
